Stake weekly recap: Mines gets a glow up, Astralis end their trophy drought, and F1 lights up Singapore
It has been a massive week to kick off October! One of our most popular Stake Originals has had a full makeover, our Esports partner Astralis lifted their first LAN trophy in seven years at Stake Ranked, and we caught up with a CS legend for an exclusive interview. On the sports side, F1 races under the lights in Singapore and our Stake Pulse circuit is back next week. Let’s get into it all at Stake!
Stake news you need to know
Mines just got its biggest upgrade yet
One of our most-loved Stake Originals just had a huge glow up! Mines now has fresh gem and mine artwork, smooth new reveal animations, and five progressive gem sounds that build as your multiplier climbs! Gameplay is quicker too, with faster tile reveals and shorter gaps between Auto Bet rounds.
Setting up your round is easier than ever. A new Mines and Gems slider replaces the old dropdown, and a live multiplier display shows your maximum possible win before you start. You can now choose your tiles before pressing Bet, click and drag to select several at once, and use the new Repeat and Clear buttons (or R and C on your keyboard) to rebuild or reset your picks. Best of all, the new Copy Strategy button on any Mines betslip loads that exact setup, same mine count and same tiles, so you can try a winning pattern for yourself! Jump into Stake Casino today and uncover your next big win!
Astralis are Stake Ranked Episode 4 champions
What a win! Our Stake Esports Partner Astralis won Stake Ranked Episode 4 in Barcelona, their first LAN title since 2019. After losing their opening match, they battled all the way through the lower bracket before beating Nemiga 3-1 in the grand final, a perfect first trophy for new head coach NEO. Relive the run in our Stake Ranked predictions blog.
