The 2023 FIBA World Cup started on August 25, 2023. The final took place on September 10, 2023, where Germany defeated Serbia 83–77. The tournament was hosted by three nations – The Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia, and we’ll stream matches live from five host cities.
Thirty-two nations competed in the 2023 FIBA World Cup – five teams from Africa, seven from the Americas, eight from Asia & Oceania and 12 from Europe.
Format & Schedule of the FIBA World Cup
The FIBA World Cup begins with eight groups consisting of four national teams. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the latter stages of the tournament, which start with a knockout format.
