Emerging from Santos' youth academy, Gabriel Barbosa quickly made a name for himself and earned the nickname "Gabigol." He shone in the Santos jersey, becoming a two-time São Paulo State Championship winner in 2015 and 2016 and clinching four top scorer titles; three times in the Copa do Brasil (Brazil Cup) and once in the Brasileirão (Brazilian Championship), becoming the only player to be the top scorer in both national competitions in the same season (2018).

Reborn Back Home

After his stint in Europe, Gabigol returned to Brazil to become a Flamengo idol, capturing numerous titles and accolades and capturing the hearts of fans. The star player was instrumental in securing two Copa Libertadores titles, major achievements with Flamengo.
