Caulfield Guineas - Caulfield, Australia
Dominant Golden Rose winner Warwoven headlines Saturday’s Caulfield Guineas as he tackles the mile for the first time. Prelude winner Blind Raise is unbeaten this preparation and shapes as the main danger, while undefeated colt Call Me Coach faces his biggest test yet. Chris Waller saddles four runners, including Tron Bolt and Stutt Stakes winner Diameter.
Ireland Trophy - Tokyo, Japan
Last year’s Japanese Oaks winner Kamunyak returns in Sunday’s Ireland Trophy, with a Queen Elizabeth II Cup berth on offer over Tokyo’s 1800 metres. Runner-up to Embroidery in both the Hanshin Himba Stakes and Victoria Mile earlier this year, she takes on defending champion Lavanda in a strong field of fillies and mares.
Hill Stakes - Rosehill, Australia
Defending champion Lindermann heads the betting for Saturday’s Hill Stakes as he looks to put a disappointing Underwood Stakes run behind him. Stablemate Militarize shapes as a key rival, while 2024 winner and last year’s runner-up Attrition arrives off a third in the Underwood, adding depth to the 1900-metre contest.
